The Journal of Antoine Chénier is a piece of historical fantasy fiction set during the tumultuous backdrop of the French Revolution. I plan to use this as a springboard for a more complex interactive fiction game.

Please be aware that this writing features mature themes.

This fiction was principally written using prompts from Tim Hutchings’ excellent solo role-playing game ‘Thousand Year Old Vampire’ and the limited interactivity was made possible using ink, Inkle's narrative scripting language.

Although this is a historical fantasy, I have previously studied the French Revolution and have tried where possible to maintain historical consistency in dates and events. If you find that I have made a mistake on that front, please do let me know!
